Project Description
Opened in 2011 adjacent to the Denver Art Museum in Denver’s Golden Triangle Creative District, the Clyfford Still Museum was designed by Brad Cloepfil of Allied Works Architecture specifically to display Clyfford Still’s work. Home to the world’s most intact public collection of any major artist, the Museum offers nine beautiful galleries of Still’s art, historic photos, objects and letters from the Clyfford Still Archives, interactive features, a pair of tranquil outdoor terraces, views into storage and conservation areas, a hands-on art creation studio, shopping, exciting programs and events, and more! The two outdoor terraces are constructed from Bison 2x2 Smooth Ipê Wood Tiles supported by Bison Versadjust Pedestals. The modular wood tiles complement the contemporary feel of the museum. The rooftop deck offers a serene space for museum employees and patrons to reflect on the museum's collection.
