Project Description
Founded in 1929, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. It plays a major role in developing and collecting modern art and is often identified as one of the largest and most influential museums in the world. MoMA's extraordinary exhibitions and collection of modern and contemporary art fuel creativity, ignite minds, and provide inspiration. In 2004, the museum added a sculpture courtyard made of granite pavers supported by Bison ScrewJack Pedestals which surround a reflection pool. Capable of supporting at least 750 pounds (FoS:3) per pedestal, the durable and sturdy Bison Pedestal Systems are an excellent solution for elevating a variety of surface materials over uneven surfaces and are applicable in an array of unique applications.
